Why is the list of files slow to load?​

WebDAV takes longer to return a folder as the number of files in it grows. Organise a large set of files into smaller folders, then open only the folder you need.

Why does File Explorer say my WebDAV login is invalid?​

The saved username or password no longer matches the WebDAV account. Copy the current credentials from Settings > File access (WebDAV) in BigCommerce, enter them again in File Explorer's Settings, and select Save.

Why does the app not open inside the BigCommerce control panel?​

A browser privacy restriction can prevent an embedded app from loading. Use the option to open File Explorer in a new tab. If it still does not open, try a standard browser window and contact support with the browser name and any error shown.

Can I edit images?​

File Explorer can preview supported images, but it does not edit their contents. Edit the image in another tool, then upload the replacement file.
